Welcome to the website of VFW Post 7099. Our post is named after two local fallen Army comrades who served in World War II, Sgt. Kelly and Sgt. Furnish. These two fallen comrades gave all for their country and our community. Much like our founding comrades, current Kelly-Furnish VFW comrades honorably served as Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Kelly-Furnish VFW sits approximately 500 feet North of Highway Avenue (Route 8) on Kelly Furnish St. located in Covington, Kentucky. Look for our sign pointing toward the post located at the corner of Highway Avenue (Route 8) and Kelly-Furnish Street. Locals call this area West Covington or Botany Hills and it’s situated just east of Ludlow. GPS systems simply want the city of Covington listed and a zip code of 41011.

We always welcome veterans and guests of veterans. Traditionally our members and their guests attend an informal gathering beginning around six many weekday evenings and ending when the last members leave. We also open each Friday evening at six and close when the last members leave.

Post 7099 hosts many events open to the public, for example, Alcoholics Anonymous holds an open meeting every Friday evening. If you have a chance, stop by, write, email or call us.

Our website calendar page indicates what’s scheduled in the future. We record all scheduled events on the calendar page, so please view our calendar to check for rental availability or to determine when an event is scheduled.
